| 备注 |
The Banco Comercial de Corrientes was one of several provincial banks operating in Argentina's interior during the 1860s, issuing their own notes largely independent of any central monetary authority — a situation that persisted until the Banco Nacional was established in 1872. Corrientes province had a particularly turbulent decade: the War of the Triple Alliance (1864–1870) cut directly through its territory, and the province was occupied by Paraguayan forces in 1865.
Whether notes of this series circulated normally during the occupation years or were suppressed and reissued afterward is not documented with certainty. Surviving examples are uncommon, likely reflecting both limited original print runs and the disruptions of wartime.
