10 Pesos El Banco de Guerrero

El Banco de Guerrero was one of the regional concession banks established under Mexico's 1897 Ley General de Instituciones de Crédito, which carved up note-issuing rights among state-chartered institutions rather than consolidating them under a single federal authority. The arrangement lasted until the 1913–1915 revolutionary period effectively strangled most of these banks, with formal liquidation orders following under Carranza.

The ABNC plate work is competent but unremarkable by the company's standards. What matters for collectors is the date range: notes issued after 1913 saw increasingly erratic circulation as confidence in Guerrero's banking infrastructure collapsed alongside the Porfiriato's financial order.
