(Translation: Durango March 1914 The Bank of Durango will pay the bearer with silver coins Ten Pesos)
Reverse description Printed entirely in orange-red with an elaborate central guilloche rosette flanked by scrollwork and the numeral '10' repeated three times in ornate cartouches at upper left, upper right, and lower centre. The bank title 'BANCO DE DURANGO' arches across the top in bold lettering, and two green oval revenue stamps are affixed at upper left and lower left. The imprint of the American Bank Note Company, New York, appears at the bottom margin.
