| Obverse description | Intaglio-printed note with an oval portrait vignette of General Julio A. Roca in military uniform at left, surrounded by elaborate foliate scrollwork. The national arms appear at centre above the bank title, flanked by a guilloche underprint in blue, while at right a cherub and a recumbent bull form an allegorical pastoral vignette. A rectangular "RENOVACION" overprint and an oval red inspection seal of the Oficina Inspectora dated 3 de Noviembre de 1887 are applied over the face. |
