Green large-numeral underprint reading DIEZ across the lower half, with signature lines for El Presidente de la Direccion and El Administrador below.

背面描述	Printed entirely in orange. The Costa Rica coat of arms is set within a large circular guilloche at centre, encircled by the bank name legend. Numeral counters 10 appear in ornate lathe-work roundels at left and right, all surrounded by an elaborate geometric and floral engine-turned border pattern.
