| 备注 |
Banco de La Alianza was one of several provincial Argentine banks that briefly held note-issuing authority during the fractured banking era of the 1870s, before the national government moved to consolidate monetary control. The American Bank Note Company produced paper for dozens of such institutions simultaneously, which means the underlying plate quality is high — far better than the financial staying power of most of these banks warranted.
Whether Banco de La Alianza ever redeemed its notes in full is doubtful. Many provincial issuers of this period collapsed or were absorbed before circulation ran its course, leaving outstanding notes unredeemed and survivors drifting into collections rather than back to the bank.
