Obverse description Black print on yellow and green underprint. A vignette at left depicts a farmer harvesting corn, while a vignette at right shows a girl with a dog. The bank title and denomination are set within ornate letterpress inscriptions, with the promise-to-pay text in Spanish across the centre.

Reverse description Printed entirely in red-orange on plain paper. The centre bears the bank name in a rectangular cartouche framed by elaborate lathe-work guilloche, with large numeral "10" medallions at left and right, all surrounded by dense geometric engine-turned ornamental patterns covering the full field. The printer's imprint appears at the bottom centre.
