The upper header reads 'SAN LUIS / TITULO CONVERTIBLE' in bold letterpress above a central vignette of the Monumento al Pueblo Artesano de la Independencia, a sculptural group rendered in reddish-brown intaglio and positioned to the right of centre. To the left, the denomination numeral '10' appears in large format over a guilloche underprint, accompanied by the provincial coat of arms and two facsimile signatures below. The authority inscriptions 'CONTADURÍA GENERAL DE LA PROVINCIA' and 'PRESIDENCIA DEL HBLE. ADMINISTRADOR DEL ESTADO' are printed beneath, with the serial number in red. |

The reverse carries a dense block of legal text in Spanish arranged across the centre, setting out the terms of emission, guarantee, and currency basket (canasta de monedas) under Ley Nº 5338 in three numbered articles. To the left, the denomination '10' and the legend 'SAN LUIS / VALOR NOMINAL' are contained within a guilloche panel, while the right portion bears an elaborate rosette underprint in green and orange tones. San Luis was one of several Argentine interior provinces that issued its own paper currency during the turbulent monetary fragmentation of the nineteenth century, when provincial governments routinely filled the void left by the absence of a functioning national currency system. Provincial notes from San Luis are among the least documented in standard references — the PS# designation without a catalog number typically indicates a note that has surfaced outside established collections, unattributed or incompletely verified against known series.
