Opmerkingen

The P#53 series was issued during a period of relative monetary stability in Mexico, shortly after the Banco de México had consolidated its monopoly on note issuance — a process that had taken decades to complete following the banking chaos of the Revolution era. By the early 1950s, ABNC had been printing Mexican notes for years, and the relationship was well-established.

Worth noting for collectors: the 1951–1953 date range reflects signing and dating variations rather than any design change. Different cashier and director signatures account for most of the sub-variety distinctions within this type.
