| Obverse description | The obverse bears a central text block identifying this as a Treasury Emergency Currency Certificate issued by authority of the President of the Commonwealth of the Philippines, with the denomination TEN PESOS repeated in large lettering at top and bottom within a decorative border of interlocking circular guilloche ornaments and corner numeral tablets. A circular red seal of the Commonwealth of the Philippines is impressed at the left, and three manuscript signatures appear at the lower portion, attributed to board members and the Chairman of the Mindanao Emergency Currency Board, with the series date 1945 and alphanumeric serial number printed at the right. |
