The upper portion carries the heading 'Treasury Emergency Currency Certificate' above a block of authorizing text issued by authority of the President of the Philippines, with 'SERIES OF 1945' at left. The denomination 'TEN PESOS' is set in large bold type at center, beneath which the issuing authority 'Negros Emergency Currency Board' appears in script lettering, accompanied by a circular seal vignette at right and three facsimile signatures with their respective titles — Acting Treasurer/Member, Governor/Chairman, and Acting Auditor/Member — above a printed serial number. |
