Obverse description Printed in red-brown letterpress on plain paper, the obverse carries the issuing authority's name in bold type at centre, with the arched legend "WILL PAY THE BEARER ON DEMAND" beneath it. The denomination TEN PESOS is set in large gothic lettering across the mid-field, flanked by numeral 10 cornerpieces, above the bilingual authority legend citing presidential issue and lawful Philippine currency. Multiple manuscript signatures of the Iloilo Currency Committee members appear along the lower margin, with series designation and serial number in red at the lateral margins.

Reverse description The reverse is printed in brown letterpress over a fine guilloche wave-pattern underprint covering the entire field, with large Roman numeral X vignettes at the upper left and right corners. TEN PESOS and PHILIPPINE NATIONAL BANK appear in bold type across the upper portion, with the place-and-date inscription "Iloilo City, Philippines, Dec 30, 1941" centred below. The denomination is repeated in large stylised lettering at mid-field, with EMERGENCY CIRCULATING NOTE and the year 1941 below, and numeral 10 cornerpieces at lower left and right.
