Obverse description The obverse is dominated by a central intaglio vignette of a classical allegorical female figure in armor seated with a shield bearing the Chilean star, flanked to the left by a condor perched on a rocky outcrop. The header carries the bold inscription REPUBLICA DE CHILE in large serif lettering, with serial numbers printed in black at upper left and upper right. Two circular Dirección del Tesoro control stampings appear at left and right, and the date 31 de Diciembre de 1924 is printed at the foot of the note below the convertibility clause.

Reverse description The reverse is printed in brown tones and centers on an oval intaglio vignette of a classical female allegory standing in draped robes, holding a staff, with a small animal at her feet. To the left is a large blank oval reserve panel surrounded by ornate guilloche scrollwork, while the denomination is rendered in large numerals 10 to the right alongside the vertical word DIEZ and PESOS in bold letterpress. The imprint IMPta FISCAL — CHILE appears at the lower center.
