| Obverse description | The obverse is dominated by a central intaglio vignette of a classical allegorical female figure in armor seated with a shield bearing the Chilean star, flanked to the left by a condor perched on a rocky outcrop. The header carries the bold inscription REPUBLICA DE CHILE in large serif lettering, with serial numbers printed in black at upper left and upper right. Two circular Dirección del Tesoro control stampings appear at left and right, and the date 31 de Diciembre de 1924 is printed at the foot of the note below the convertibility clause. |
