Obverse description Black on red-brown underprint, reduced format similar to earlier issues. A vignette of the Cal y Canto bridge over the Mapocho River in Santiago occupies the left portion, while an intaglio portrait of President José Joaquín Pérez is placed at right. Various handstamp varieties are known on this type.
