Obverse description Multicolour note with a classical allegorical female figure standing at left, holding a staff, against an ornate border with diagonal overprint reading REPUBLICA DE HONDURAS, TEGUCIGALPA, and the date; a central vignette presents a steam-and-sail vessel underway at sea, flanked by the denomination DIEZ PESOS in bold letterpress. At right, an oval guilloche frame encloses the Honduran national coat of arms, with the numeral 10 at upper right and the bank title BANCO CENTRO-AMERICANO across the top. The note carries printed signature lines for El Director, El Gerente, and El Mayor de Hacienda, with the imprint of the American Bank Note Co., New York at the lower margin.

Reverse description Printed entirely in blue, the reverse is centred on a large guilloche rosette bearing the bank name BANCO CENTRO-AMERICANO within a circular frame, surrounded by dense lathe-work trellis patterns. The denomination DIEZ PESOS appears at centre right and the city name TEGUCIGALPA at centre left, each set within horizontal panels of intricate geometric guilloche. Large numerals 10 occupy both the left and right extremities within ornamental borders, with the imprint AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY, NEW YORK along the lower edge.
