Obverse description Plain white note with engraved text in an elegant script throughout. At upper left, an oval cartouche bearing the denomination '10 PESOS'; at centre-left, a vignette of the Argentine coat of arms within a laurel wreath. The body of the note carries the promise-to-pay text in Spanish cursive lettering, with the denomination 'Diez Pesos' highlighted in a shaded oval underprint, the place of issue 'BUENOS AYRES', and the date in manuscript. Two manuscript signatures appear at the lower portion of the note, with the titles 'Contador' and 'Presidente' below each respectively.
