At upper left, an oval cartouche bearing the denomination '10 PESOS'; at centre-left, a vignette of the Argentine coat of arms within a laurel wreath. The body of the note carries the promise-to-pay text in Spanish cursive lettering, with the denomination 'Diez Pesos' highlighted in a shaded oval underprint, the place of issue 'BUENOS AYRES', and the date in manuscript.
