Obverse description Central round hole pierces the field, surrounded by a symmetrical spray of seven finely detailed fern or pine branches radiating outward from the hole's base. A stylized five-petalled rose in high relief occupies the upper field above the branches. The date is divided by the branch arrangement, with '19' to the left and '41' to the right in the lower field. A small decorative floral or foliate motif appears at the very base below the central hole, lending the design an elegant, naturalistic character.
