Reverse description Central design features an ornamental heraldic shield bearing a rampant Loaghtyn ram — the native Manx breed — depicted in bold relief with characteristic curved horns and raised forelegs, emblematic of the Isle of Man's heraldic tradition. The shield is framed by elaborate acanthus-scroll mantling extending to the left and right fields, with additional foliate ornament at the crest. A decorative compartment at the base of the shield bears the denomination numeral 10 in raised figures. The composition, engraved by Leslie Lindsay, reflects the celebratory heraldic theme of the Quincentenary of the College of Arms.
