Reverse description The reverse features a large capital letter 'R' rendered in a textured, stone-like relief, occupying the majority of the coin's field and representing the first letter of 'Robin' from the A-Z of Great Britain series. A naturalistically modelled robin redbreast perches within the counter of the letter, depicted in fine detail with feathered plumage. Snow caps the upper serifs of the letter, and a wintry ground line with bare branches appears at the base. Six intricately detailed snowflake motifs are dispersed across the field surrounding the letter, enhancing the seasonal character of the design.
