| Obverse description | The fifth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Jody Clark, occupies the centre of the obverse, depicting the monarch in right-facing profile wearing the George IV State Diadem, adorned with floral and foliate ornament, and a drop earring. The engraver's initials J.C appear in small relief below the truncation of the neck.
