| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a perched falcon — the peregrine falcon, an iconic Manx symbol — rendered in high relief at the centre of the field, facing left with wings folded and detailed feathering visible across the breast and tail. Surrounding the bird is an elaborate interlaced Celtic knotwork design that fills the field with flowing, serpentine ornamental scrollwork, reflecting the Manx artistic heritage. The denomination numeral 10 appears to the right of the falcon within the decorative knotwork. The design, engraved by Leslie Lindsay, demonstrates exceptional artistry and is particularly well-struck on this proof example, showing full cameo definition against a mirror-polished field. |
