| 裏面の説明 | The reverse displays a full-color applied depiction of two turtle doves (Streptopelia turtur) facing one another in the center of the field, their characteristic speckled brown and chestnut plumage and white neck patches rendered in vivid polychrome. A sprig of holly with bright red berries and glossy green leaves occupies the lower foreground, reinforcing the festive Christmas theme. The legend TEN PENCE is incused in bold capital letters across the upper arc of the coin. This design forms part of the Guernsey Twelve Days of Christmas commemorative series for 2023, engraved by Rachel Blackwell. |
