Banco da China has issued commemorative New Year notes for the Macanese market in limited quantities since the mid-2000s, and the 2012 Dragon issue was among the more sought-after in the series — the Dragon year carries particular cultural weight in southern Chinese communities, producing predictably elevated collector demand at the time of release.
The "Printed: 30.04.1945" date in the catalog data is clearly a system error and should be disregarded. Pick 115 is a 2012 commemorative issue, not a wartime note.
