| Opmerkingen |
The "Printed: 30.04.1945" field almost certainly refers to the Pick catalog reference date for the underlying P#88C series, not the production date of this commemorative — Giesecke & Devrient did not print Macanese patacas in the final days of World War II. BNU's lunar new year commemorative 10-pataca notes have been issued annually since the late 1990s, each tied to the relevant zodiac cycle, with the Year of the Dog falling in 2018.
Giesecke & Devrient's Munich facility has handled BNU Macau security printing for decades, continuing after the 1999 handover, as BNU retained its right of issue alongside the AMCM framework.
