Reverse description The reverse presents multiple lines of Arabic calligraphic inscription arranged within a central oval cartouche, recording the sultan's titles and the mint and date formula. The text is densely composed in a traditional Ottoman naskh hand, filling the available field. A beaded inner border frames the cartouche, echoed by a rope or pellet border at the coin's irregular edge, consistent with the hammered production technique employed at the Tripoli mint.
