| Obverse description | Conjoined busts of Reza Shah Pahlavi (founder of the dynasty, facing left, in military uniform) and Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi (facing left, in ornate military dress with epaulettes and decorations), rendered in high relief against a plain field. The dual effigies commemorate the Pahlavi dynastic legacy, with the elder shah positioned slightly behind and to the left of his son. A fine beaded border encircles the entire design. The Persian denomination inscription 'ده پهلوی' (Ten Pahlavi) appears in elegant Nasta'liq script along the lower rim. |
