| Descrizione del dritto | The Royal Coat of Arms of Tonga occupies the central field, depicted in fine relief and enclosed within a raised inner circle. The shield features the traditional Tongan quartering including a star, a dove, three swords, and a crown, supported by elaborate scrollwork mantling, with two flags bearing crosses issuing from behind the shield and surmounted by a royal crown flanked by olive branches. A scroll bearing the national motto appears at the base of the arms. The legend KINGDOM OF TONGA arcs along the upper periphery outside the inner circle, while the date 2003 is inscribed below, flanked by two small dots. |
