附加信息	George Tupou V was crowned on August 1, 2008, but he had already made the decision that defined his reign before the ceremony took place: a voluntary transfer of most royal powers to an elected parliament, effectively ending Tonga's absolute monarchy. He died in 2012, four years into a reign that never fully exercised the authority the coronation symbolized.
