| Obverse description | The obverse features the crowned royal cipher of King Gustaf VI Adolf at center, composed of the interlaced monogram 'GAVIM' (Gustaf Adolf VI Magnus) rendered in an elegant Gothic script style. A large Swedish royal crown surmounts the cipher, executed in fine relief. The date is divided on either side of the monogram, with the first two digits to the left and the last two to the right. The field is plain and unlettered, and the entire design is contained within a beaded inner border. |
