| 备注 |
Bjørnøen A.S. was a Norwegian mining company that operated a coal concession on Bear Island — a remote Norwegian territory in the Barents Sea, roughly halfway between Svalbard and the North Cape. Company scrip of this kind was a practical necessity: the island had no official monetary infrastructure, and workers needed a medium of exchange that could only be spent at the company store, tying wages directly back to the employer.
The 1923–1924 dating brackets a short operational window. The coal venture ultimately proved uneconomical, and the company's activities wound down not long after.
