| Obverse description | Helmeted and draped bust of Roma in profile facing right, rendered in a debased late antique style characteristic of Ostrogothic coinage. The effigy displays a crested helmet and schematic drapery, with the portrait occupying the majority of the flan. A partially visible Latin legend encircles the bust, reading INVICTA ROMA. The overall relief is low and the die work is crude, consistent with provincial hammered bronze production of the period. |
