Beschrijving voorzijde Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Justinian I facing right, rendered in the late antique imperial portrait style typical of sixth-century Byzantine coinage. The emperor wears a pearl diadem and military cuirass with a paludamentum (cloak) fastened at the shoulder, visible across the chest. The effigy occupies the central field, with the imperial legend disposed around the periphery. The portrait exhibits the characteristic flat, stylized modeling of hammered Byzantine copper coinage, with visible irregularities in the flan consistent with hand-struck production.
Schrift voorzijde Latin

Beschrijving keerzijde Central field dominated by a large Greek numeral I (denoting 10 nummi), surmounted by a cross, serving as the denomination mark in the Byzantine fractional copper series. To the left of the I, the word ANNO is arranged vertically in the field, indicating the regnal year formula. To the right, the regnal year numeral is displayed. Beneath the I appears the officina (workshop) letter, identifying the specific mint workshop responsible for production. In the exergue, the mint signature CON (for Constantinopolis) is inscribed, following standard Byzantine mint practice of this period.
