背面描述 The reverse is printed in brown and cream and bears the central inscription GIẤY BẠC VIỆT NAM at the top, flanked by the numeral 10 at each upper corner, with the large denomination text MƯỜI ĐỒNG at the lower centre. A block of Vietnamese text in the centre details the legal conditions governing the note's validity, while two signature panels appear at the lower left and lower right, each accompanied by an official title inscription and a handwritten signature; an additional letter H appears below the left signature. The border is formed by a repeated geometric guilloche pattern.

备注

The National Bank of Vietnam was established in 1951 as the monetary authority of the Associated State of Vietnam — still formally within the French Union but operating with its own currency, the đồng, replacing the Indochinese piastre at par. These early issues were a direct assertion of institutional independence, even as French forces remained engaged across the country.

Thomas De La Rue printed the series in London. P#37A is the more elusive of the two signature varieties catalogued for this denomination, which accounts for the premium it reliably attracts over its counterpart.
