| Opmerkingen |
Nigeria's 10 Naira note in this paper series was already living on borrowed time by 2006. The Central Bank had been pushing polymer for the lower denominations since 2007, when the 50 Kobo, 1, 5, and 10 Naira notes were converted as part of a broader currency reform tied to the centenary of Nigerian currency. The paper version of this denomination ran concurrently with its polymer counterpart for a period before the older substrate was phased out entirely.
Paper examples from the later end of the 2006–2009 window circulated heavily and tend to show it.
