The dragon faces left with an open mouth and prominent horns, occupying nearly the full diameter of the inner circle. Surrounding the beaded border, the circular legend reads in Chinese characters 大朝鮮 開國四百九十七年 (Great Joseon, founded 497 years ago) interspersed with the Korean Hangul 십문 and the Latin denomination 10 MUN at the base. The entire design is enclosed within a plain outer rim with a fine dentilated border. |

Flanking the inner circle on both sides is a wreath of plum blossoms and leafy branches, tied at the base with a ribbon bow in the lower central field. Surmounting the wreath at the top is the Taeguk symbol — a circular yin-yang-style emblem characteristic of the Joseon royal iconography — rendered in fine detail. The entire design is contained within a plain rim with a dentilated inner border. |
