Obverse description Central field features a coiled imperial dragon rendered in high relief within a beaded inner circle, its sinuous body, scaled texture, and clawed feet depicted in intricate detail. The dragon faces left with an open mouth and prominent horns, occupying nearly the full diameter of the inner circle. Surrounding the beaded border, the circular legend reads in Chinese characters 大朝鮮 開國四百九十七年 (Great Joseon, founded 497 years ago) interspersed with the Korean Hangul 십문 and the Latin denomination 10 MUN at the base. The entire design is enclosed within a plain outer rim with a fine dentilated border.
