| Obverse description | Central field bears the large numeral '10' prominently displayed, with the Arabic denomination 'عشرة مليمات' (ten millimes) inscribed below in elegant Arabic script. The central motif is encircled by a continuous band of stylized traditional Tunisian arabesque ornamental design, featuring repeating foliate and geometric interlaced motifs. The entire design is bordered by a finely milled dentilated rim. This uniface essai was struck on a polished planchet, imparting high-gloss, proof-like surfaces characteristic of the set of seven paired trial pieces produced in 1960. |
