| Obverse description | Intaglio and letterpress print in black over a polychrome guilloche underprint; at left, an allegorical vignette of a seated female figure representing Minerva accompanied by an eagle. Serial, stamp, and order numbers are printed in red, and the full title of the issuing authority is set within decorative guilloche borders framing the central text panel. The denomination "DEZ MIL RÉIS" appears in large type at centre, flanked by numeral counters. |

The issuing authority inscription is contained within a rectilinear panel at lower centre, with the printer's imprint divided across the bottom margin. |
