背面描述	Printed entirely in green, the reverse is dominated by a central architectural vignette of a large neoclassical public building, likely the Palácio Piratini (seat of the Rio Grande do Sul state government), rendered in fine line engraving within an ornate cartouche. The numeral 10 appears in large format on both the left and right flanking panels, surrounded by intricate guilloche latticework borders. The inscriptions THESOURO DO and ESTADO DO RIO GRANDE DO SUL are placed above and below the central vignette respectively.
