Obverse description At center, the rampant Saxon horse (Sachsenross), the heraldic symbol of Westphalia, faces left with forelegs raised. The denomination '10 Mark' is inscribed in Fraktur blackletter script within the lower field beneath the horse. A circular legend in Fraktur blackletter runs along the periphery, with the date '1921' flanked by lozenge stops at the base.
