| Obverse description | Red-brown letterpress note with a guilloche underprint across the upper field, bearing the large numeral '10' to the left and 'M' to the right flanking a central oval vignette of the Wilster municipal coat of arms, encircled by the legend 'STÄDTISCHE SPARKASSE ZU WILSTER' and 'MÜNDELSECHER'. The denomination 'Zehn Mark' is rendered in bold Gothic blackletter script across the centre, below which the issue date 'Wilster, den 11. November 1918' and the heading 'Der Vorstand:' appear above three manuscript signatures. A red wax-style circular municipal seal of Wilster is affixed to the lower left, and a serial number is printed in red at the foot of the note. |
