Obverse description Green-tinted Notgeld note printed on paper, with a decorative border of geometric Art Nouveau ornamental motifs in yellow and blue. A central vignette depicts a hand grasping an anchor above stylized waves, rendered in brown and ochre tones. Text appears to the left and right of the vignette, with a serial number at the lower centre and the printer's imprint along the bottom margin; a large diagonal letterpress overstamp in dark ink crosses the entire face of the note.

Reverse description Reverse of the Kriegs-Notgeld note printed in olive and brown tones, with a vignette in the upper portion showing the famous Lindau Lion monument seated on its plinth against a panoramic view of Lake Constance, with mountains visible in the distance. The inscription KRIEGS NOTGELD DER STADT LINDAU i.B. appears below the vignette, and the numeral 10 is printed in the lower right corner. A large diagonal letterpress overstamp in dark ink crosses the entire reverse.
