| Obverse description | Central field depicts the heraldic arms of Meissen: a crenellated tower or fortified gate flanked by a rampant lion passant, rendered in low relief against a smooth porcelain ground. The denomination '10 MARK' appears in bold raised lettering below the arms, with the date '1921' inscribed along the lower arc of the field. The legend 'STADT MEISSEN' curves along the upper periphery in capital Latin letters. A beaded border encircles the entire design, characteristic of the Meissen State Porcelain Manufactory's notgeld production. |
