| 备注 |
Issued by the Inspection of Prisoner of War Camps under the III Army Corps command, this note circulated exclusively within the camp system around Brandenburg an der Havel — a deliberately closed monetary circuit intended to prevent prisoners from accumulating Reichsmark currency usable outside the wire. The III Army Corps was headquartered in Berlin, giving it administrative oversight of a substantial network of camps in the Brandenburg region during the war's middle years.
Ambrosius & Co. in Kirchhain, Niederlausitz printed a range of these Lagergeld issues for different camp inspectorates. The 10 Mark denomination was the highest in many such series — large enough to discourage casual forgery attempts, since a prisoner caught counterfeiting faced severe consequences under military law.
