At upper centre, the issuer title reads 'Kriegsgeld der Stadt St. Georgen (Schwarzwald)' in bold blackletter script, with a hand-stamped red serial number at top. To the left, a circular vignette contains the numeral '10' in pale blue underprint, while to the right an embossed medallion bears the city seal with St. George. At centre, a large dark oval vignette contains the heraldic coat of arms of St. Georgen, with a helmeted crest and acanthus mantling, flanked by floral wreath roundels; the left roundel holds an embossed city seal and the right a pale blue '10' numeral. Corner inscriptions repeat 'Zehn Mark' in blackletter at upper left and right. Below the central vignette the issuer legend 'der Stadt St. Georgen (Schwarzwald)' is set in blackletter, with the denomination numerals '10' at lower left and right.
