| Obverse description | Light blue guilloche underprint with an elaborate acanthus scroll border framing the entire face. At upper centre, the issuer title reads 'Kriegsgeld der Stadt St. Georgen (Schwarzwald)' in bold blackletter script, with a hand-stamped red serial number at top. To the left, a circular vignette contains the numeral '10' in pale blue underprint, while to the right an embossed medallion bears the city seal with St. George. At centre, a dark rectangular panel carries the denomination 'Zehn Mark' in large blackletter type. Below, a text block states validity terms dated 1 November 1918, closing with 'Für die Stadtgemeinde: Der Bürgermeister' and a manuscript signature. |
