| Obverse description | Printed in olive-green on plain paper, the obverse is laid over an elaborate guilloche underprint of interlocking circular and oval rosettes. The central inscription "Zehn Mark" in large bold Gothic script is headed by the issuing authority title "Kriegsnotgeld der Stadt Landsberg a/Lech", with the numeral "10" at each lower corner, the place-and-date line "Landsberg, April 1919" centred below, and the Bürgermeister facsimile signature above the designation "Stadtmagistrat / rechtsk. Bürgermeister". The validity clause "Gültig bis auf Widerruf" appears at upper left, and the serial number is printed in red at upper right. |

| Reverse description | The reverse repeats the olive-green colour scheme over the same intricate guilloche underprint of interlocking circular rosettes that characterises the obverse. "Zehn Mark" in large bold Gothic script occupies the centre, surmounted again by "Kriegsnotgeld der Stadt Landsberg a/Lech", with the place-and-date line, Stadtmagistrat designation, and facsimile Bürgermeister signature reproduced in full, and the numeral "10" at each lower corner. The reverse omits the red serial number found on the obverse; the validity clause "Gültig bis auf Widerruf" is retained at upper left, and the redemption clause naming the three local bank branches appears at the foot. |
