| Obverse description | Emergency currency voucher (Gutschein) issued by the City of Bautzen, dated 8 November 1918. The face carries the title inscription 'Gutschein Gültig im Bezirke der Stadt Bautzen' above the denomination 'Zehn Mark' rendered in large numerals, with a text block stating that the voucher will be redeemed by the cashiers and banks within the city upon return of the note. The overall layout is typographically composed in a letterpress style consistent with municipal Notgeld issues of the period. |
