At left, a detailed intaglio-style vignette of the Altenburg Bartholomäikirche tower with surrounding Gothic architecture is integrated into a large ornamental calligraphic initial 'Z'. The denomination 'Zehn Mark' is rendered in bold Fraktur script across the upper centre, beneath the heading 'Gutschein', with the issuing authority text, date '15. November 1918', and the municipal seal of Altenburg applied in violet ink at centre; denomination numerals '10' appear in boxed panels at upper right and lower right. |
