| Beschrijving voorzijde | Kriegsnotgeld issued on a tan ground, with the denomination 'ZEHN MARK' set in large ornate Jugendstil lettering over a green guilloche underprint at centre; the numeral '10' with floral ornaments appears in decorative cartouches at the left and right margins, each inscribed 'MARK' below. The city coat of arms of Schleswig — a tower flanked by a crescent and a six-pointed star — occupies the upper right corner, while a circular embossed dry seal is applied at upper left. Four manuscript signatures appear beneath the central legend, representing the Bürgermeister, Beigeordneter, Stadtverordneten-Vorsteher, and Stellv.-Stadtverordneten-Vorsteher respectively. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Printed in dark brown and green on a tan ground, the reverse carries a central architectural vignette of the Schleswig Rathaus, a multi-storey brick building with a mansard roof and clock tower set within a courtyard with figures and flanked by trees rendered in green. Denomination panels at left and right bear the numeral '10' above 'MARK' within arched decorative cartouches, the left incorporating a small landscape vignette with barrels and the right a rising sun motif. The heading 'KRIEGSNOTGELD · DER · STADT · SCHLESWIG' runs across the top, with a framed validity disclaimer panel at the foot. |
